Dale and I went riding on the four wheeler today.  He took me around some of the roads that you had taken me.  I had been trying to find the road to the ridge, but couldn't find it on my own.  Dale took me to the ridge and to some of the new places that you were clearing.  I loved it.  He tried to bump me off a few times but it didn't happen.  I think we bonded a little.  We were talking about you and saying that we thought you were proud of us, then we did some silly things.  We could just imagine you shaking your head and saying only my kids could do something like that.  Mom says that she loves you.  Dale and I do too.  We love and miss you very much!

You would be so proud of me.  Yesterday, I walked around the property by myself.  I wandered here and there.  It's a great place to just walk and clear your thoughts.  Today, I rode the four wheeler around by myself and I found two hunters on the farm.  I went to the house and told mom.  I took her to where they were.  You would be proud of her, she was firm and didn't say one bad word.  She is upset at Webb.  We're going to have to do something about him.  He is driving her crazy, and I can't stand to see her so upset.  He really knows how to get under one's skin.  I really like going around the farm.  I like looking at all the trees.  I love you and miss you so much.

I was riding around the farm with mom and I started snickering.  It reminded me of when you took me around the property line earlier this year.  I was on the back of the four wheeler and we were on top of the ridge.  I can't remember exactly how it happened but I just about came off of the four wheeler.  You had me by the ankle and the majority of my body was hanging off of the back.  Now I know how Michelle felt when she was all sprawled out in the back of the truck.  I still think it's funny.  I could just imagine myself rolling down to the bottom of the hill.  I also played on the tractor today.  Well, I was mowing one of the fields.  I could just hear you telling me to watch out and watch what I was doing.  I admit I did have the tractor leaning pretty good.  I think it was up on two wheels at one point.  I love you very much.  I miss you terribly so.  There are so many times when I call mom that I catch myself getting ready to ask where you are.  Love you daddy.

Remember when we were dating?  You would come down to see me and my dad would get you to drive him all over the place.  I remember all the times we would just ride around. We would be all over the state of WV.  When the kids were little, we would go up Pinecreek and find a water hole for them to play in. I remember all the roses you used to get me on our anniversary. the flowers would be so beautiful! The roses would represent the years we were married. You ordered me a dozen roses when I was in labor with each of our children. The roses were so beautiful! I love you so much and miss you even more!!!
